The clubs that have the best harmony are usually the ones that achieve great success. For example, Liverpool and Manchester City are dominating by displaying just that. Whenever a football fan is eager to try some online betting, they usually end up placing bets on one of these two clubs. Of course, you need to have the players that share the same mindset as the others, but we wanted to give the spotlight to the unsung heroes – the managers. So, here is a small list of the greatest tactical geniuses in football’s recent period.

Arsene Wenger

The great Frenchman basically glorified Arsenal’s history. The club became one of the most respected in the world due to the massive success that his manager had. Throughout the years, his tactics of aggressive pressing and passing style were praised and he led Arsenal to a season without any defeat in 2003/2004 and crowned them as The Invincibles. To make things even sweeter, he was even in charge of the club's finances and had a great influence on Arsenal's successful business decisions.

Max Allegri

We couldn’t imagine this list without an Italian on it. Italians have always been praised as the greatest managers when it comes to tactics and strategies, and Max Allegri is no exception. He managed to win numerous trophies as the manager of both Milan and Juventus. He has a defensive and patient style, waiting for the opponent to make a mistake. That is why he has 15 trophies as a manager.

Jose Mourinho

The Special One strikes again. You may not like his style and hate him for the arrogant person that he is, but you can’t deny his greatness. Mourinho’s famous tactic of Parking the Bus was used very often, especially on big games. Those games were not that entertaining but brought Mourinho the best results. That is why he is considered as one of the overall best managers in football history and a defensive genius.

Pep Guardiola

Manchester City’s current manager always puts a show, whenever his team plays. He reinvented the tika-taka style of play and his offensive tactic is truly a work of art. Pep’s teams are always fun to watch because he never gives up and presses his players to perform under the highest standards, no matter the opponent. He is the greatest manager of our generation and we are lucky to watch him write history.

Sir Alex Fergusson

On the number one spot, we have none other than the great Sir Alex Fergusson. Whenever you mention a list of the best managers of all time, Fergie will probably be on the No.1 spot to the majority. As a manager, he was very strict and held the traditional values, which is why he was dominating European football for so long. He was so successful that many of the football fans actually believed him when he said that he can win the Champions League with 10 pieces of wood plus Zinedine Zidane. He is the top choice on our list by a big margin.
